From Pittsburgh, PA now living in Brandon, SD, Patrick Toomey is the Grazing Education Lead for SFA. He has a diverse background including reclamation of oil, gas, and mining sites, Tribal bison management, private Holistic Management consulting, and federal conservation with the NRCS. Drawing from this wide swath of experience, he works and thinks outside the box to help farmers achieve their goals.

Patrick lives in Brandon with his wife, Desirae, two daughters, Edilyn and Ayla, and two dogs, Bellini and Arlo, where he coaches and plays hockey in the winters, and tends chickens, hogs, and cattle and trains hunting dogs in the summers.
