At Large - Minneapolis
Melissa Driscoll has a BS from Colorado College in Anthropology (minor in Environmental Issues) and an MS from the University of Minnesota in Conservation Biology (with a minor in Sustainable Agriculture Systems). After a myriad of outdoor jobs after college, she worked as a collective member at North Country Cooperative Grocery for 6 years, then at the Department of Natural Resources for 15 years (in land acquisition). The DNR job overlapped with her passion of owning and operating Seven Songs Organic Farm, where she grew and sold certified organic vegetables and Animal Welfare Approved eggs.
Currently her time is spent volunteering at The Giving Garden (all produce donated to the food shelf), playing soccer, walking her small dogs, and working for Kisheri Farms (formerly Seven Songs Organic Farm). Her passion is the place between ecology and agriculture, as she firmly believes that therein lies our collective successful future.
