Ashley Schultze and her family own a 12-acre farm in Lakeville, MN. She grew up in Southern Minnesota on an organic dairy and crop farm, participated in 4-H and became an executive chef and catering manager. Since 2023 she has stepped out of the kitchen to work fulltime on the farm following the six soil health principles by planting perennial fruits, flowers and hazelnuts and will start raising silvopastured chickens in 2026. The farm was approved for the MAWQCP and climate smart endorsement in 2025 and is on track to be certified organic by June of 2026.
