Beginning Farmer Resources

Welcome to Sustainable Farming Association’s Beginning Farmer Resource Page!

This page will be updated regularly, and you’ll be able to find links to educational, financial, land access and mentoring resources.  Please check back often.

MStateFergusFuture farmers should consider the Sustainable Food Production program (right) at M State Fergus Falls. The instructors include SFA Livestock and Grazing Specialist Kent Solberg as well as SFA Central Chapter board member Dr. Sue Wika.

For now, if you are a land owner interested in identifying a possible successor for your farm and/or farm business, please click here.

If you are a beginning farmer, and would like to be informed of new opportunities and resources as they become available, we’d like to offer you a FREE one year membership in SFA ($35 value).  Just fill out our sign-up form.

Sign up for SFA Connect, our bi-weekly e-newsletter.

Thanks!
