Enjoy a special dinner presentation from pastured livestock expert Jeff Mattocks during SFA East Central Chapter‘s Animal Nutrition Seminar, set for 4-8 p.m. Wed., Feb. 21, at Bailey Ray’s Road House, 2120 165th Ave NE, Santiago.
Mattocks, author of “Feeding Pasture-Raised Poultry” and vice president and nutritionist at The Fertell Company, will discuss animal care and nutrition for chickens, pigs, goats and sheep. His presentation will include information on feed conversion, cost per pound, average daily gains, cost of feeds, alternative feeds, protein levels and more. A question and answer session will follow.
